Japan Post Bank to deploy FraudAction service suite from RSA for internet banking customer protection

Japanese financial services provider Japan Post Bank teams up with RSA, the security division of information infrastructure systems, software and services company EMC, to deploy the RSA FraudAction service in order to protect its online banking customers.

Under the terms of the deal, Japan Post Bank will deploy RSA FraudAction to provide users of its Yuucho Direct internet banking service with online crime and phishing attacks protection for their personal information and financial assets. Yuucho Direct allows customers to access to their online accounts and perform balance inquiries, fund transfers and bill payments.

The RSA FraudAction service is implemented via the RSA Identity Protection and Verification Suite. And aims to detect, track and shut down phishing, pharming and Trojan attacks perpetrated by online fraudsters.
