Export and Finance Bank, Jordan Selects CR2s BankWorld Solution

Export & Finance Bank, Jordan is to expand its banking channels and will provide e-Banking facilities to its growing customer base, through the use of CR2s BankWorld Internet application. BankWorld Internet, is a secure 24x7 Internet banking solution from CR2 that is designed for financial institutions that want to quickly roll out e-banking services to customers. For Export & Finance Bank in Jordan, this solution will have pre-defined sets of banking functionality which is ideal for a fast track implementation, and it will empower the bank to provide instant online banking services to its customers. Established in 1996, Export & Finance Bank provides comprehensive commercial and investment banking services. In 2002 the bank introduced ATM facilities at its branch offices through the deployment of CR2s ATM technology, and now its customers have access to over 260 ATMs on the JONET nationwide network. Since then the bank has been reviewing new channel strategies through which their customers can interact with the bank, and as a result Export & Finance Bank has signed a deal with CR2 for BankWorld Internet. The first phase of the project is now complete, and Export & Finance Bank are aiming to have their Internet Channel available to their customers by the close of the calendar year. In addition to BankWorld Internet, Export & Finance bank has selected to take some tailored modules for their distinctive banking operations, which include CR2s modules for Trade Finance, Flexible Banking Data, and a special SMS security access feature. The Trade Finance module will provide on-line application and instrument information to Export & Finance banks customers. For added security over the internet the bank has selected SMS notifications with security logins. As a result customers accessing their personal accounts over the internet will be notified by SMS text message of a unique pass phrase required for entry.
