Euronet rollout e-pay in Ireland

Euronet Worldwides subsidiary e-pay Limited has entered Ireland by launching electronic top-up services (e-top-up) at Tesco Irelands 79 branches.

The rollout provides e-top-up services at all Tesco Ireland outlets for the mobile operator customers of Vodafone Ireland, O2 Ireland and Meteor. Tesco Ireland, formed in 1997, is the largest food retailer in Ireland operating 79 stores nationwide. Customer support for Tesco Ireland has grown steadily with revenues increasing annually; growth in 2002-03 was 7.8%. e-pay now has distribution in six countries, including the U.K., Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Poland and Ireland. e-pays product distribution is supported through a proprietary technology platform featuring a state-of-the-art switching engine that offers billing, customer service, trouble reporting, credit management, settlement and reconciliation.
