Dutch man hacks 50,000 credit cards

A 20-year-old man has been arrested in the town of Maastricht, Holland, being accused of hacking and stealing the details of 50,000 payment cards on the internet.

He obtained the credit and debit card details from a UK ticketing agency, by means of which he made numerous online purchases. It is also suspected that he has hacked into the web portal of a US games company and stole a copy of Territory: Quake War while in development. The man is alleged to have caused USD 20 million of infrastructure damage in his hacking and online fraud sprees.
