Digital Check activates the CheXpress check scanner

Desktop check scanners provider Digital Check has activated the CheXpress check scanner targeting the small business distributed check capture market. CheXpress features image capture capabilities to perform check truncation for small business banking customers accessing remote deposit capture services. The CheXpress scanner incorporates dual scanning of images, dual check endorsement and dual MICR read technology to capture data.

Studies show that nearly 14.5 million small businesses are willing to adopt remote deposit capture and estimate an adoption rate of less than one percent. CheXpress check scanners are certified by Digital Check software partners. Shipments will start in July 2008.
