The 228 ECR, which offers the industrys only 10-denomination configuration, allows a teller to reutilize deposited cash and enables financial institutions to efficiently and economically manage their cash inventories. The introduction of the ECD and ECR follows extensive independent research and user studies to validate the engineering and design of the units and to incorporate features and enhancements in the products that are desirable among financial institutions, tellers and service technicians. The ECR and ECD, for instance, were specially designed to fit comfortably under existing bank branch counters with minimal, if any, modifications. The units also offer exclusive touch screen capabilities that enable a more intuitive user experience for servicing.
