DataInherit rolls out two-factor authentication service for iPhone

Tuesday 8 June 2010 11:19 CET | News

DSwiss, a Switzerland-based online banking applications developer, has launched an authentication feature for iPhone embedded in DataInherit, its password and data safe service.

Dubbed DoubleSec, the functionality is based on automated two-factor authentication and is set to ensure that login details cannot be captured or intercepted. To achieve this, DoubleSec users are given a secret token that is stored on their iPhone and is refreshed before each login. Any new login attempt is preceded by a verification process of the previously provided token.

DataInherit is an internet data safe service based on DSwiss Agile Data Safe technology.
