CredoRax deploys security application firewalls from Barracuda Networks

Global e-commerce acquiring bank and payment processing company CredoRax has implemented the Barracuda web application firewalls from Barracuda Networks, a provider of content security, data protection and application delivery services.

Barracuda web application firewalls are set to protect CredoRax’s customers data and assist with PCI compliance for merchants using the company’s online credit card and payment processing services. In addition to its security capabilities, CredoRax will also gain access to the Barracuda web application firewalls delivery capabilities, including SSL offloading, caching and compression.

CredoRax has also deployed the Barracuda SSL VPN and Barracuda Load Balancers in its datacenters.

CredoRax provides online credit card clearing services to merchants. Additionally, CredoRax provides merchants with fraud prevention and payment gateway services, such as online shopping carts for their customers. CredoRax is a licensed financial institution, acquiring bank, and a member of Visa and MasterCard.

Barracuda Networks provides protection against email, web and IM threats and products that improve application delivery and network access, message archiving, backup and data protection.
