UK-based bus operator Brighton & Hove buses has selected technology company Corethree for the latter’s Core Engine integration platform to provide mobile ticketing services to bus passengers in Brighton and Hove.

Under the agreement, the mobile ticketing service provided by Corethree is set to offer mobile ticketing services for iPhone and Android devices to passengers. Bus passengers will be able to browse, select and then purchase bus tickets using their smartphone, with one-time registration of payment details and on-screen tickets.

In October 2012, UK-based bus operator Plymouth Citybus selected Corethree to provide mobile ticketing services to bus passengers in the UK.
