Banco FIE selects Utiba for mobile financial services platform

Bolivian financial institution Banco FIE has selected Singapore-based mobile financial transaction software company Utiba for the latter’s mobile financial services platform.

Under the agreement, Banco FIE is set to use Utiba’s mobile financial services platform in order to provide its customers with mobile financial services, including mobile wallet.

Utiba is a provider of mobile financial transaction platforms for mobile operators and financial institutions. Utiba is deploying a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform in the Americas and the Caribbean region, with a focus on m-commerce and mobile financial services.

In recent news, Utiba has selected Irish-based authentication technology provider ValidSoft for its SMART (Secure Mobile Architecture for Real-time Transactions) service.
