Andromeda unveils fully integrated mobile phone ordering applet for food delivery

However, services that are based on SMS or WAP come with certain restrictions, while OrderAnywhere provides users with a branded applet on their phone, containing the full menu for that concept. Menu prices and offers correspond to the current menu in the customers nearest store, being updated automatically by the restaurants EPOS system.Once the consumer has placed an order via OrderAnywhere, it is transmitted directly to the stores EPOS system. The process takes several seconds, thus saving labour costs and avoiding eventual mistakes. The customer will get an SMS confirmation once the order has been received, and a second one when the order leaves the store.The OrderAnywhere application is fully branded according to the restaurants logo and menu and customers can pass the application to a friend, operating a referral scheme being also possible.Orders can be placed using payment options such as cash on delivery and/or credit card.
