Alliance Data, Tween Brands enter expansion agreement on private label credit card program

US transaction-based marketing and customer loyalty services provider Alliance Data Systems has won an extension contract from specialty retailer Tween Brands.

According to the terms of the agreement, Alliance Data Systems will continue to offer private label services to over 900 of Tween Brands Limited Too stores (now under the Justice brand), a program which the company initiated in 1996. In addition, Limited Too cardholders are to be converted to the new Justice card which can be used for online purchases on the specialty retailers website or to pay for items selected from Justices catazine catalogue.

Alliance Data operates via four segments: Loyalty Services, Epsilon Marketing Services, Private Label Services, and Private Label Credit. The latter provides private label retail credit card receivables financing, as well as receivables funding, card authorization, private label credit card issuance, statement generation and remittance processing services, among others.

Tween Brands sells clothing and accessories aimed at girls aged 7-14. Its 900 stores are located in the United States, Puerto Rico, Europe and the Middle East.
