Yahoo Announces Mobile Deal with Nextel

Yahoo will provide mobile Internet services to Nextel Communications Inc., a deal that gives Yahoo relationships with all five leading mobile carriers in the United States.

With the deal, Yahoos mobile services -- including e-mail, instant messaging, news and games -- will be made available to Nextel users with handheld devices. AOL offers instant messaging, e-mail or both on all five U.S. mobile carriers.
