UK-based corporate digital commerce platform VTEX has announced a partnership with technology company Stripe to help brands and retailers offer their customers the payment methods.

With this cooperation, VTEX customers can now process online payments with Stripe directly via the plug-in available on the VTEX dealer platform. The integration works in all of the countries the two companies operate in, including Brazil, Spain, the United States, Italy, Mexico, United Kingdom, Romania, and Singapore, and supports payment processing in dozens of currencies. Online stores using VTEX can now accept Google Pay, along with payment options like Apple Pay and other traditional options like credit and debit cards.

VTEX customers can also take advantage of Stripe products, including the Radar fraud prevention tool, which uses machine learning from data from millions of companies to detect and prevent fraud. The partnership aims to enable local and global businesses to adapt to market trends and increase conversion rates through a wide range of payment options. According to a VTEX representative, it is expected to add more payment methods and reach more locations as the cooperation continues to expand.
