UK: almost a quarter of sales will be mobile this Christmas

UK customers are set to make 20.4% of their online purchases this Christmas using a mobile device. Meanwhile, the projected average across Europe is 12.4%, a recent research has revealed.

According to a research carried out by Adobe, 20.4% of UK’s customers are set to make their online purchases this Christmas using a mobile device.

In the US, 14.4% of online sales are expected to be made via mobile. This is a 40% increase from last year. Adobe Online’s Shopping Forecast rates of continued growth indicate that Europe may surpass the US in terms of mobile shopping by next Christmas.

Across the rest of Europe, Norway follows the UK with 14.7% of sales expected to be mobile, with Germany and Netherlands noting 10.5% and 10.6% respectively.
