Triton PCS Signs Contract with Qpass

Triton PCS has signed a multi-year agreement for the Service Bureau edition of Qpass Prosperity Series software. Triton PCs will use the Prosperity Series Service Bureau to offer thousands of ringtones, games, and other premium services to its TDMA and GSM/GPRS subscribers.Triton PCS, based in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, is an award-winning wireless carrier providing service in the Southeastern United States. The company markets its service under the brand SunCom, a member of the AT&T Wireless Network. Triton PCS is licensed to operate a digital wireless network in a contiguous area covering 13.6 million people in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, northern Georgia, northeastern Tennessee and southeastern Kentucky. Prosperity Series Service Bureau is a managed application that gives regional network operators a rapid time-to-market solution for building and operating a value-added services business. Consumer applications such as custom ringtones, premium messaging, and games may be offered over any network and selected from more than 10,000 pre-integrated applications available from Qpass QuickStart program members. Prosperity Series provides functionality for managing many of the activities critical to running a profitable mobile data business, including managing content partner relationships, service offers, subscriber access to content, payment processing, multiparty settlements, reporting, and customer care. Using Qpass, mobile operators can more easily generate incremental revenue from their advanced networks.
