Thursday 20 March 2014 10:55 CET | News

Telecommunications provider Saudi Telecom (STC) and BlackBerry have entered an integrated carrier billing agreement for BlackBerry smartphone customers in KSA, allowing customers to purchase apps for their phone on the BlackBerry World storefront and have the charges directly applied to their standard Saudi Telecom bill.

To make secure purchases and payments on BlackBerry World, customers will be required to enter their BlackBerry ID username and password. Customers can also make in-app purchases, such as additional content or new levels for a gaming app, without having to leave the app or interrupt the app experience.

In recent news, South African operator Telkom Mobile has entered into an integrated carrier billing agreement with BlackBerry.
