RBI launches mobile banking security lab

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has established a mobile banking security laboratory set up by the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology, online media outlet thehindubusinessline.com reports.

According to the source, the security laboratory is set to provide solutions in the fields of mobile banking and security through research and development and will train participants from banks and financial institutions.

In recent news, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has enabled regional rural banks (RRBs) and cooperative banks to participate in the centralised payment systems.
