Passenger partners with Littlepay for contactless passenger experience

Wednesday 23 February 2022 13:37 CET | News

Transit-focus infrastructure provider Littlepay has partnered with UK public transport app Passenger to deliver proactive customer engagement.

The partnership offers transit operators the necessary tools to give passengers real-time updates regarding their journey, including transactions and capping. Public transport users will benefit from complete transparency about the fees they pay for using contactless bank cards and contactless-enabled devices.

The new features will be introduced by Littlepay into a contactless journey portal within all websites and transport apps handled by Passenger. Push notifications can also be enabled to keep customers informed about travel events in real time, including reaching a fare cap. The changes are designed to improve customer experience and provide transparency to the entire process.
