ICTA, Dialog enable m-payments for government services

The Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) and Dialog Axiata, Sri Lanka’s mobile market and premier connectivity provider, have entered into an agreement, to enable customers to use their Dialog phone number to make payments for Government e-services.

The mobile payment and transaction service dubbed eZ Cash is operated by Dialog Axiata and is regulated by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

With this service, government e-service recipients are enabled to make payments for any government e-service through their Dialog mobile phones.

eZ Cash service is made on Lanka Gate, an electronic transaction gateway to public service agencies of the government of Sri Lanka.
