i-Free unveils NFC-based wallet in Russia and CIS

i-Free has launched an NFC-based wallet embedded in smartphones and a TSM platform in Russia and CIS.

Both the NFC-based wallet and the TSM platform were developed by i-Free for mobile contactless technology. Three services are available for NFC-wallet users: Mobile MasterCard PayPass payment card of financial institution Tinkoff Credit Systems, transport cards from some Russian regional centers and geolocation-based coupon service.

Currently, the NFC-based wallet offers not only basic functions of Mobile MasterCard PayPass card download and use in retail and service outlets, but also the payment for goods and services inside the application. The user can buy a ticket for a public transport or purchase a coupon paying for it with his bank card in one click.

i-Free is a developer and implementer of projects in mobile and NFC technology, electronic finance, digital content distribution, electronic payments and micropayments, applications for smartphones and new network devices, digital products for the B2C market, and B2B projects in mobile marketing.

Outside Russia i-Free has offices in Kiev (Ukraine), Minsk (Belarus), Almaty (Kazakhstan), Mumbai (India), Beijing (China) and Sao-Paulo (Brazil).
