Hewlett-Packard, Accumulate to provide m-payments, m-banking

US-based multinational information technology corporation Hewlett-Packard has signed an agreement with Accumulate, a Swedish mobile payment services provider, to enable a number of HP’s global customers to use mobile payments, mobile banking and mobile security services.

The Accumulate customer portfolio continues to grow with clients including PKO Bank Polski (Poland), National Commercial Bank (Saudi Arabia), CredibanCo (Colombia), Diners Cards (Ecuador), Shell (Greece) and PayPal (Sweden). Services based on the Accumulate solution are to be introduced in several countries around the world.

In recent news, Bulgarian national clearing house Borica-Bankservice (BO-BS) has launched a mobile payment service dubbed MOBB that makes the card mobile and that will set a technology standard for mobile payments in Bulgaria. The service is based on mobile technology, processes and methods from Accumulate.
