With its new suite, edocs is helping service providers resolve critical business issues by: -- Reducing Customer Churn: New web self-service capabilities provide valuable service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and create higher barriers to turnover. New advanced analytics/reporting and rate plan advice modules address customer churn issues caused by poor rate plan fit, price competition and new number portability legislation. Business customers also benefit from enhanced capabilities for hierarchy management that let them model their own organization to analyze monthly service bills and run custom reports. -- Reducing Support Costs: New customer self-service capabilities help service providers gain better control over costs by shifting common customer service interactions from expensive contact centers to the lower cost web channel. Service providers also save on paper and postage, payment and order processing costs as the web becomes the preferred channel for both business and consumer customers. -- Increasing New Revenue Opportunities and Reducing Customer Acquisition Costs: New service and order management capabilities make it easier for service providers to target and add new services for customers while also reducing the associated acquisition costs. These capabilities are targeted at areas such as pre-paid, family plans and data services as well as B2B contract and user management. edocs new Industry Applications Suite for Telecommunications delivers the first-ever end-to-end customer self-service and e-billing solution for service providers. With the new suite, carriers empower their customers to manage all aspects of their service relationship online - from customer acquisition through ongoing account management and service plan changes. The software suite includes advanced applications for service and order management, reporting and analytics, rate plan advice, and online billing and payment. The off-the-shelf applications are available fully integrated and can be deployed together or individually. All leverage edocs considerable expertise in the global telecommunications market.
