International secure mobile transactions technology company C-SAM has signed an agreement with contactless joint venture (JV) Isis to license its wallet management platform and software development kit (SDK).

The C-SAM platform is set to enable Isis to offer smartphone users a mobile wallet for conducting NFC transactions related to payments, rewards, coupons, tickets, transit and other services.

C-SAM offers a range of mobile phone-based financial and non-financial services to enable consumers to conduct transactions using their existing smart and feature mobile phones and networks. The company’s patented MTP enables carriers, banks and service providers to deliver secure mobile payments services for finance, retail, healthcare and government applications.

In November 2010, US-based mobile carriers Verizon Wireless, AT&T and Deutsche Telekom’s subsidiary T-Mobile USA have established a JV to offer contactless mobile-phone payment based on NFC technology.

In recent news, C-SAM and Multicard, a subsidiary of global identification-based technology company Identive Group, have finalized a partnership to offer C-SAM’s Mobile Transaction Platform (MTP) and related m-commerce and m-payments services to Multicard’s customers in the Netherlands.
