Bank Nizwa has rolled out new features for its e-wallet, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, to help users complete payments electronically.

The mobile app, which is a digital extension to the bank’s Islamic solutions, allows customers to send or receive fund transfers through their mobile phones. It can be used for bill payments, recharge of mobile balances, and cardless cash withdrawals from the bank’s ATMs.

Other features include the instant transfer of funds at retail outlets or government entities by scanning the unique QR code.

Besides, the e-wallet is available to non-customers as well.
