Airtag partners with PayPal for KFC Fast Track m-wallet

Wednesday 4 December 2013 09:13 CET | News

Airtag, a provider of mobile shopping solutions, has partnered with PayPal to bring functionalities to the KFC Fast Track mobile wallet.

Launched by KFC UK and Ireland and AIRTAG earlier this year, Fast Track enables customers to order and pay in advance for their meals before they arrive at the restaurant. Under the terms of the agreement, Fast Track users can login and checkout with PayPal.

With this solution, KFC customers can create a Fast Track account using their existing PayPal account details by entering their username and password.

Fast Track enables KFC customers to order and pay using the website, web app or mobile wallet. Using the geo-located mobile check-in functionality, the customer notifies store staff they are ready for order pick-up. Fast Track is available now in Woking, Basingstoke, Southampton and Slough.

In recent news, PayPal has launched a pilot project for a check-in based mobile payment service in Berlin, Germany.
