William Lansing, Thomas Kendra join Avangate team as directors on Advisory Board

Avangate, a Netherlands-based developer of e-commerce and channel management technology for software companies, has appointed William Lansing and Thomas Kendra as directors on the company’s Advisory Board.

William J. Lansing served as CEO and director of a number of public companies including InfoSpace, ValueVision Media, NBC Internet and Fingerhut. He was a partner at the private equity firm General Atlantic Partners, and also served as vice president of Corporate Business Development for General Electric in addition to being a member of General Electrics Corporate Executive Council. William Lansing currently serves on the board of directors of RightNow Technologies, a SaaS CRM company, and FICO, a decision analytics company.

Thomas Kendra`s professional background includes more than 30 years of experience and numerous executive and board level roles, including his current role as a member of the executive board of directors for ACG Silicon Valley, an organization for senior M&A and corporate development executives. Previously, he was the executive vice president of the enterprise products and solutions business line at CA Technologies, Inc. (formerly Computer Associates) and also served on the board of directors of Pareto Networks. Additionally, Mr. Kendra was the group president of the security and compliance group at Symantec Corporation.

In March 2011, 3TS Capital Partners, a private equity and venture capital firm, acquired a minority stake in Avangate, via the former`s Technology in Central and Eastern Europe Fund S.C.A. SICAR, informally known as 3TS Cisco Growth Fund.
