Primark to launch its first click-and-collect trial

Tuesday 21 June 2022 09:08 CET | News

UK-based fast fashion retailer Primark has announced its first click-and-collect trial later in 2022.

The company tackles the latest ecommerce trends by opting for an expanded selection of children’s products for the trial. The new service will be launched from 25 Primark stores across the northwest of the UK, without an official date yet.

The trial will count for around 2,000 products from different categories, including clothing, accessories, and furniture-related items designed to cater for a broad range of family needs. Out of the selected items, 40% of them will be offered as an exclusive deal to click and collect customers, aiming to reward faithful clients and expand its base.

The main advantage of click and collect stores, as opposed to regular brick-and-mortar ones, is that clients have a wider range of products and exclusive deals to choose from, as the average size of a store can only hold a limited number of them.
