Azerbaijan: 10.2% ecommerce market growth

Azerbaijan’s ecommerce turnover recorded a 10.2% growth to USD 1.91 million (AZN 1.5 million) from January to July 2014, as compared to the same period of 2013, according to a report issued by the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan (SSC).

The same source indicates 78.3% of the total consumer goods purchased online were for trade networks of legal entities, as compared to 21.7% purchases in trade networks of individuals.

Non-food products accounted for 90.3% of ecommerce market turnover.
