Proactis acquires EGS Group

Proactis, a global spend control and e-procurement solution provider, has signed a GBP 2.9 million cash deal to acquire EGS Group Limited, an e-procurement, e-invoicing, workflow and purchase-to-pay solution provider.

The Proactis acquisition of EGS is set to provide access to the UK public sector. The joint customer list ranges from central government agencies and mid-sized companies in just about every industry sector, a variety of local governments, authorities and charities.

In November 2012, Proactis launched the Proactis Purchase-to-Pay v2013 service.
