Cegedim Global Payments, a global payment systems and dematerialization company, has entered an agreement with Communication Intelligence Corporation (CIC), a supplier of electronic signature services, to help companies migrate their systems to the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA).

Cegedims MAEA software suite, which complies both with SEPA requirements and the European Commissions Payment Services Directive and which allows enterprises to maintain their existing subscription and collection processes has integrated with CICs electronic signature technology to deliver dematerialization for enterprises.
MAEA, which was initially focused on direct debit, provides a service for the management of SEPA eMandates or authorisations and related payment transactions. CIC’s electronic signature service is used for the completion of a valid eMandate and is available for immediate deployment via MAEA.

Cegedim also provides new payment methods for the settlement of electronic invoices, using its direct debit management solutions and relying on CICs electronic signature technology. The CIC platforms support all electronic signature methods, including click-to-sign and biometric, allowing users to choose the hardware, software, signature and security combination that fits their processes.
