Abel Solutions, a US-based consulting firm focusing on the delivery of business solutions on the SharePoint platform, has partnered with US provider of collaborative payment, invoice and document automation services Bottomline Technologies to extend the Accounts Payable Management from SharePoint users.

Under the agreement, Abel Solutions will provide systems integration, consulting and deployment services for companies wishing to implement Transform AP, Bottomline Technologies accounts payable (AP) management and visibility add-on for SharePoint.

With Transform AP, customers can use OCR to capture and validate invoice detail, store and view transaction-related documents, and generate invoice-related reports. Client companies can implement configurable, automated approval workflows for their AP (including mobile approvals) based on company-specific business rules, and authorised finance and non-finance approvers and coders can review invoices online.

Transform AP can also connect directly with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) platform for data search, retrieval and upload.
Bottomline Technologies provides cloud-based payment, invoice and banking solutions to corporations, financial institutions and banks around the world. The company’s solutions are set to automate and manage processes involving payments, invoicing, global cash management, supply chain finance and transactional documents.

In April 2013, Bottomline Technologies has received a further accreditation from global financial messaging provider SWIFT, becoming the SWIFT business partner for UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands.
