Yoti to reveal Fellowship Programme for world identity knowledge

Tuesday 16 April 2019 00:25 CET | News

Yoti has planned to launch a Fellowship Programme to support local researchers, innovators, and individuals with knowledge of local identity needs.

The company’s goal is also to show the issues, challenges, and opportunities that go along with the identity needs, as part of its Social Impact Strategy, which was launched in February 2019 to support innovation for developing world identification projects.

Yoti is inviting proposals for development of research, media, policy, or solutions, with three Fellowship positions to fill. Moreover, proposals should be based on three or four identity-related themes in need of exploration, and the results could take the form of a technical platform, a report, a website, a policy paper, and more. Also, thematic areas suggested by Yoti include providing and managing identity solutions for marginalised or economically exploited communities or individuals, including refugees and migrants, difficulties among indigenous communities in establishing and proving identity, and collecting the specifics of what ‘digital identity’ means for communities in developing countries.
