Thunes employs an exhaustive scoring system, based on several factors, such as the delivery channel, the country risk, KYC requirements, and AML technology. The results enable Thunes to locate high risks and gauge the amount of additional screening needed to reduce specific threats to partners. Controls are calibrated and applied to subsequent payment flows and each individual transaction is monitored with real-time screening, following the highest international standards. By applying this standard of controls, Thunes is able to work with a diverse partner base and bridge the gaps between emerging and developed markets.
