The IDEMIA Identity Platforms offer a powerful identity verification engine which verifies the identity of a consumer based on different types of proofs (ID documents, biometrics). Our solutions check the authenticity and real existence of the submitted pieces of evidence, and we connect to third-party databases to verify the alphanumeric and biometric data provided (AML, PEP, PEI, Sanctions). Our platform establishes a Level Of Assurance to give the service provider a level of confidence/trust into the consumer's identity.
Transaction fraud
Our identity solutions enable service providers to generate, store and manage their consumer's digital identities. Those consumers can then reuse this digital identity by authenticating with their biometric credentials in order to prove that they are who they claim to be to access services and be authorised to transact.
Alternatively, the digital identity can be provisioned onto the user's smartphone.
Account fraud
IDEMIA's Identity Platforms provide multi-factor authentication to allow consumers to access their account and prevent impersonation.
IDEMIA's identity solutions provide strong factor authentication that can be used as a step-up in scenarios that require higher level of trust or when there are reasons to doubt the user (based on risk engine).
ATM fraud
By equipping their ATM with biometric fingerprint sensors and by building their own biometric consumer database, banks can enable a more secure way for consumers to authenticate at ATM, removing the risk of PIN usurpation.
Financial crime data provider and intelligence
Our platform can connect to an external financial crime data provider. These checks can be used as an additional signal within the identity verification and authentication flow.
