When was the core technology developed?
Do you have redundancy and coverage provided by multiple integrations(APIs & Direct Access)?
We currently only offer API access to our clients (we also offer a Client Dashboard; however, this is simply a UIfor our APIendpoints). These APIs act as gateway to the financial institutions that we partner with (ex: BMO, Fiserv, Flinks, etc). Our redundancy comes in the form of multiple partners which our APIs can access. If one of our partners is down or offline, we have the ability to route traffic to other partners.
How will you handle automated refunds?
To refund the customer’s payment after the Payment has succeeded, customers can create a refund by providing the original transaction ID and the full amount will be returned to the same account number. They can also optionally refund part of a payment by specifying an amount.
How will you mitigate the risk of bank transactions failing?
The transaction amount is held and is not available to the recipient until the bank transaction is settled (typically in T+3 business days). Once the funds clear, we release the hold on the amount.
How will you reconcile payments efficiently?
We receive intra-day reports from our banking partners updating us on the status of each transaction we process. These reports are used to reconcile payments in near-real time.
