Setec delivers new European Union visa stickers for Estonia

The Finnish smart card and security printing company Setec delivers in total 350.000 visa stickers during spring 2004 to the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Eesti Vabariigi Välisministeerium).

Estonia is the first of the ten new member states of the European Union that issued an international tender for the European Union visa stickers. The Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs paid special attention to reliable product technology, production security, and logistics to ensure a controlled issuance of visa stickers when choosing the supplier. The security requirements for the Estonian State travel documents are very similar to e.g. Finland and other member states that have a long outer border of the European Union. Setec was able to combine these demands with a competitive price performance according to the tight timetable. The new visa stickers are needed beginning of May 2004.
