Open Text to buy GXS

Canadian business-software provider Open Text has revealed plans to buy GXS Group, a US-based e-invoicing at B2B e-commerce services company.

Under the terms of the deal, OpenText will pay USD 1.065 billion in cash and USD 100 million in its common shares.

In March 2013, GXS joined the NACHA Global Payments Forum (GPF).
