Wednesday 27 November 2013 11:13 CET | News

International money transfer provider MoneyGram has entered an agreement with Russian mobile phone retailer MTS, to offer money transfer services in the latter’s stores throughout Russia.

The agreement enables Russian and foreign citizens to transfer funds to friends and family at any of MoneyGram’s worldwide locations. Moreover, customers can complete transactions in MTS retail offices without having to visit bank branches.

The signing is the result of collaboration between MoneyGram and the RNKO ‘Payment Center,’ a settlement non-banking credit organization. MoneyGram and RNKO have worked together since 2008 to develop relationships with Russian Federation financial institutions.

In recent news, MoneyGram and financial institution CIMB Bank Singapore have reached an agreement to offer international money transfer services at the CIMB Bank Currency Exchange outlets at Resorts World Sentosa and the Marina Bay Cruise Centre, bringing accessibility of funds transfer services to customers.
