Financial services provider HSBC has launched talking ATMs in the UK to aid blind and partially sighted customers.

Talking ATMs allow customers to access their money without relying on other people, by plugging headphones into the machine and receiving spoken instructions.

The software which gives the ATMs the ability to ‘talk’ is set to be installed in 2015.

In recent news, HSBC has launched a new mobile banking app that enables customers to view account balances, make bill payments, transfer funds between HSBC accounts and more.
