Visa has rolled out the Visa Payment Controls, an online platform aimed at enabling small business owners to manage all transactions and payments made on employees’ business cards.

The newly launched service enables small business owners to manage how employees can use their cards based on location (international and domestic travel blocking), spending limits (purchase limits, cash-access restrictions and ATM withdrawal limits) and categories (channel, transaction type and merchant category restrictions).

Additionally, business owners and employees will be able to set-up notifications for when transactions are blocked.
Visa Payment Controls will be offered to account holders by participating financial institutions. In recent news, Visa has entered an agreement with DirectCash, a Canadian provider of ATMs, debit terminals, prepaid phone cards and prepaid cash cards, to provide Visa cardholders who travel to Canada with access to their funds.
