VendTek Systems, a developer and licensor of software for the global prepaid and financial services markets, has entered a partnership with US electronic payments provider iSend.

Under the agreement, iSend's mobile phone top-up service is set to be available in retail locations across Canada while the company is set to resell VendTek's prepaid services, including Canadian mobile phone top-up and financial vouchers, through iSend's retail network. As a result, iSend is set to have access to Canadian mobile carriers for which to provide PIN-based mobile phone top-ups.

Furthermore, customers are set to be able to pay for vouchers in cash at iSend's retail locations and then be given a code they use to pay for their purchases on websites that accept vouchers as a form of payment.

Customers are also set to be able to use prepaid credit card vouchers by paying cash at iSend's retail locations and then redeem the activation code online to receive a credit card number, expiration date and CVV to use for purchasing products.

iSend enables consumers to directly pay bills, recharge mobile phones and purchase gift cards for family members in their home countries.
