MyClear to launch mobile banking service

Malaysian Electronic Clearing (MyClear), a wholly-owned subsidiary of financial institution Bank Negara Malaysia, has teamed up financial institutions Malayan Banking, CIMB Bank and Public Bank and is set to work with three other banks to deliver mobile banking services by the end of 2012.

MyClear is currently piloting the mobile banking service dubbed MyMobile with the first three banks in collaboration with telecommunication companies Maxis, Celcom and DiGi. The service is set to allow users to transfer funds with their mobile devices.
