US-based mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) services provider PayAnywhere has entered a partnership with MasterCard.

Under the terms of the agreement, MasterCard and PayAnywhere are working together to enhance the accessibility of mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) solutions, delivering functionality and support specifically for local businesses and retailers.

As part of the partnership, MasterCard’s Truaxis loyalty reward platform is set to be integrated into PayAnywhere.

In recent news, MasterCard, eServGlobal, a French developer of telecommunications software systems and BICS, a global mobile financial services provider, have teamed up to create HomeSend, a joint venture which will enable customers to send money to and from mobile money accounts, payment cards, bank accounts or cash outlets, regardless of their location or that of the recipient.
