Google allows mobile payments with any card

Friday 19 May 2017 11:24 CET | News

Google has released a mobile payments API that lets users pay within third-party apps and mobile websites.

Customers are no longer restricted to use cards preloaded in Android Pay to make payments. Instead, they can choose from any payment method previously used with their Google Account. The company can now capitalize on the collected payment card data from customers who use multiple platforms like YouTube, Pay Store, Google Store and even the Chrome browser.

Google allows merchants and developers to integrate payments in their websites and applications by using the Google Payment API tool.
