Ecommerce via smartphones grew 68 percent in the Netherlands

eCommerce Payment Monitor, a research conducted by GfK in collaboration with iDeal has revealed that f online purchases that happened using the smartphone, grew 68% compared to 2015.

At present, 9% of online purchases in the Netherlands happen via the smartphone, which means a rise to 14.9 million, from 8.9 million, while the tablet accounts for 14%.

The online shopping market increased by 22% compared to the situation in 2015, when Dutch consumers completed 174 million online purchases.
