Intuit acquires tax filing startup KDK Softwares

Intuit, a US provider of business and financial management services, has unveiled plans to acquire professional tax filing software provider KDK Softwares India for an undisclosed amount, in order to strengthen its accountant customer base.

KDK Softwares provides professional tax computation and e-filing functionalities, and is set to be integrated with Intuits QuickBook software for medium and small businesses within the next 12 months.

In May 2014, Intuit entered into an agreement to purchase Check, US provider of mobile bill payment solutions.
